2. User-Generated Content & Ingestion Liability

The Service allows you to upload raw documentation files (PDF, XLSX, DOCX, TXT, JSON) and ingest web URLs [1].

  • Rights & Permissions: You represent and warrant that you own or have the explicit legal authorization, licenses, and rights to upload, parse, and index any content or web URLs you submit to your workspace partition [1].
  • Decoupled Liability: The Platform operates strictly as a stateless, automated pipeline utility. The Platform does not assume ownership of your files, nor does it monitor, review, or verify the copyright status of user-ingested documents [1]. You bear 100% of the legal and financial liability for any copyright infringement or data-residency violations arising from your uploads or URL scraping actions [1].

3. Web Scraping & Crawler Compliance

When utilizing the Platform’s live web scraping connector, you agree not to target websites that explicitly forbid automated crawlers, indexing, or parsing via their `robots.txt` file or standard terms of use [1]. You agree not to use the Service to bypass paywalls, extract copyrighted proprietary databases, or harvest personal data without consent.

4. Cognitive Synthesis Disclaimer

The Causal Logic Engine utilizes vector-similarity metrics and high-inference language models to compile citations and synthesize text [1.1].

  • No Decision-Making Liability: Synthesized responses are compiled based on user-provided document matrices [1.1]. The Platform does not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or legality of any AI-synthesized outputs [1.1].
  • Verification Requirement: You must manually verify all citations (Node IDs and page numbers) before making business, legal, medical, or technical decisions based on the engine's responses [1.1].

5. DMCA & Copyright Takedown Procedure (Safe Harbor)

The Platform complies with the Digital Millennium Copyright Act (DMCA) and international safe harbor frameworks protecting online service providers from direct liability [1]. If you believe that any content hosted within a workspace partition violates your copyright, you may submit a formal takedown notice containing:

  1. A description of the copyrighted work claimed to have been infringed.
